When you submit a request through our Request a Unit form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, address, the storage type and size you're interested in, your preferred start date, and any comments you add.
This information is used to create a lease enquiry in our storage management system (UnitTrac) and/or to contact you directly by phone, text or email to confirm details and arrange your storage. If our booking system is temporarily unavailable, this information is instead sent to us by email as a fallback, so your request isn't lost.
Like most websites, ours automatically records some technical information when you visit — such as your general location, browser type, and which pages you view — via our hosting provider (Cloudflare).
We also use the Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) on this site to understand how people find us and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. This may include matching visitors to Facebook accounts using securely hashed (scrambled, not plain-text) versions of information such as name, email, or phone number, if you've provided that information to us elsewhere. Meta's own use of this data is governed by Meta's Privacy Policy, not this one.
The Meta Pixel sets cookies in your browser to support this. You can control or block cookies through your browser's own settings at any time.
We don't sell your personal information to anyone, and we don't share it with any other third party except where required by law.
This site links to external services we don't control, including Google Maps/Reviews, Facebook, and Waypoint (yourwaypoint.co.nz), a separate business. Once you leave our site, that service's own privacy policy applies, not ours.
We keep enquiry and lease information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, manage any storage lease, and meet our legal and accounting obligations.
